ROCKY MOUNT, Va. — Bank of Botetourt is pleased to announce the appointment of Kimberly A. English as branch manager of its Rocky Mount office.
English succeeds Jessica R. Hudgins, who has been promoted to teller trainer, a newly established role focused on employee development, operational excellence, and enhancing the customer experience across the Bank. Drawing on her extensive experience in branch operations and frontline banking, Hudgins will help lead training initiatives that support consistency, professional growth, and exceptional service throughout the organization.
As branch manager, English will oversee daily operations, mentor and develop staff, strengthen customer relationships, and further the Bank’s longstanding commitment to community-focused banking. With more than 30 years of banking experience, she brings a wealth of industry knowledge and a deep understanding of the evolving financial needs of individuals, families, businesses, and communities throughout Franklin County and the surrounding region.
“Kimberly’s leadership experience, industry expertise, and dedication to customer service make her an exceptional choice for this role,” said Duane Burks, senior vice president and chief retail officer. “She understands the value of relationship banking and the importance of meeting customers where they are. We are confident that she will continue to build on the strong foundation of our Rocky Mount office while delivering the personalized service our customers expect. We also are excited for Jessica as she steps into this important training role, where her knowledge and experience will help strengthen and support our retail teams across the Bank.”
A lifelong resident of Franklin County, English has earned a reputation for her thoughtful service, building meaningful customer relationships, and a genuine commitment to the communities she serves.
“I am honored to take on this leadership role with Bank of Botetourt,” said English. “I look forward to working alongside our talented team to continue serving customers, building lasting relationships, and helping our customers achieve their financial goals.”
Outside of work, English enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling, and outdoor activities.
The Rocky Mount office is also equipped with one of the Bank’s Interactive Teller Machines (iTMs), providing customers with expanded access to banking services and added convenience. Through live, on-screen teller assistance available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., customers can complete routine transactions beyond traditional banking hours, while standard ATM services remain available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
