BUENA VISTA, Va. — Bank of Botetourt will recognize the retirement and contributions of longtime banker and community leader Robin Moore during the 28th annual Bank of Botetourt Beach Music Festival at Glen Maury Park.

Moore joined Bank of Botetourt in September 2003 and will retire with nearly 23 years of service to the bank and 47 years in the banking industry. Throughout her career, she has held roles as a teller, consumer banker and IRA manager. She is currently assistant vice president-branch manager of the bank’s Fairfield office, where she has built lasting relationships with customers and colleagues across Rockbridge County.

“Robin’s dedication to our customers, our employees and our community have made a lasting impact on Bank of Botetourt and the Rockbridge region,” said Michelle Austin, president and CEO. “Her leadership, commitment to service and passion for supporting local initiatives have strengthened countless relationships over the years. We are grateful for her many contributions and look forward to recognizing her during an event that has been an important part of her work in the community.”

Now in its 28th year, the Bank of Botetourt Beach Music Festival has become one of Buena Vista’s signature community events, attracting visitors from across Virginia and surrounding states while generating meaningful economic activity for local restaurants, retailers and attractions. This year also marks Bank of Botetourt’s 10th year as the festival’s presenting sponsor.

Beyond her banking career, Moore is a substitute pianist for several churches throughout Rockbridge County and has been actively involved with the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life for many years. She has served multiple times as chair of Rockbridge Relay For Life, including in 2026.

During the festival, Bank of Botetourt President and CEO Michelle Austin will celebrate Moore’s remarkable career and recognize the impact of her leadership, service and commitment to the bank and the Rockbridge region.
