IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR ACCOUNT
 
ONLINE BANKING & BILL PAY
 
Our online banking website will be getting an updated look, with new, easy-to-use navigation screens, features and improved functionality.
 
IMPORTANT DATES OF LIMITED SERVICE:
Online Bill Pay will be unavailable beginning Thursday, September 5 at 4:00 PM and will be inaccessible until the afternoon of Monday, September 9. Online Banking service will be unavailable beginning Friday, September 6 at 4:00 PM until Monday, September 9 at 10:00 AM. 
 
All Online Banking and Bill Pay customers received a special email as well as a separate mailing which provided additional information. If you do not have this information, please contact your local branch.
 
24-HOUR TELEPHONE BANKING
 
Beginning Friday, September 6, our 24-Hour Telephone Banking system will be unavailable until 9:00 AM on Monday, September 9. Customers will be greeted with a new voice beginning September 9, following the system upgrade. Phone number(s) will remain unchanged, but menu options will change.  
GETTING STARTED - The first time you access this system beginning September 9, you will be prompted to enter your new Access Identification Number, which is the last four digits of the primary account holder’s Social Security/Tax ID Number. If you are a business customer, please enter the last four digits of your EIN. The system will then require you to select a new four-digit PIN.

BANK STATEMENTS
 
The format of our bank statements and notices will change slightly in appearance, but will include the same information you currently receive.   In addition to your standard monthly bank statement, you will receive an interim statement dated September 6 on all checking and savings accounts you have with us. We will include the payment of interest for interest bearing accounts and will waive any service or activity charges for this interim statement. 
 
If your bank statement prints the last day of every month, it will continue to do so. All other statement print dates may change slightly.
 
ATM & DEBIT CARD INFORMATION
 
During the week of September 2, our ATMs may have brief periods of downtime for the system upgrade.  This upgrade will occur during normal banking hours, allowing any impacted ATM customers to use our branches for their cash withdrawals or other transactions.  Account balance information at Bank of Botetourt ATMs will not be available beginning the afternoon of Friday, September 6 through Monday, September 9.   If you make a deposit or transfer funds at any ATM during this period, you will not have access to the funds until mid-day September 9. 
Your Bank of Botetourt Visa® Debit Card will remain unchanged. If you anticipate using your card frequently or anticipate large purchases during the enhancement period of September 6 through September 9, you may want to be prepared to use checks or withdraw cash from your account prior to September 6.
