GUIDELINES: Sponsorship and Partnership (Volunteers, Giveaways) requests are considered only from 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. All contributions must support fundraising efforts that benefit one or more of the following areas: Health, Education, Community Service, Youth Activities, Cultural Initiatives, Special Community Projects, or Environmental Efforts. Priority is given to nonprofit organizations that support growth and development in Botetourt, Rockbridge, Roanoke, and Franklin counties, as well as the City of Salem and the Town of Vinton, Virginia. The following requests will not be considered: individuals, political entities, applications with incomplete information, religious organizations without a full-service banking relationship with the Bank of Botetourt, requests with with less than 30 days notice. Each request is carefully evaluated, and additional information, meetings, or site visits may be requested during the review process. Average review time is 2-4 weeks. A Community Outreach representative will reach out with the status of your request upon completion of the review.
