COMMUNITY SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
AND ESSAY GUIDELINES
Bank of Botetourt is pleased to offer its 7th Annual Taking Care of You Community Scholarship totaling $2,000.00!
To apply, applicants will need to write a two-page essay on the topic of
“How has Bank of Botetourt been able to take care of your banking and financial needs?”
Deadline: 03/31/2023
Available to:
- High school seniors and existing college students currently relying on Bank of Botetourt to provide their banking services,
- Maintains a GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Maintains an active checking account
Essay Guidelines:
- Essay should be limited to 2 pages, 1.5 spacing at 12-point font margins at 1-inch.
- Include a title page (separate page within the Word document containing your essay, not a separate document) with the following information:
- Name
- E-mail address
- Phone number
- School’s name
- Date submitted
- Brief statement about your college plans
- Title of essay
Additional Details:
Do not include your name or any personal information on any page other than the title page. Please include proof of enrollment in your school and GPA verification. A letter from your guidance counselor stating your GPA meets the requirement is acceptable.
Bank of Botetourt employees and their immediate family members are not eligible for the scholarship. |
